Michael Koor
Inception - 2020
I live on Ellerslie Avenue with my wife and two kids. I was born and raised in West Willowdale and I’m fortunate enough to be able to raise my family on the street I grew up on. I was a member of the volunteer WWNA committee for the last two years. When not volunteering, I work at BMO Financial Group and I enjoy playing hockey. I have a keen interest in seeing neighbours collaborate, share ideas and take action, as it is the best way to create a lasting sense of community.

Anna Baranowsky
Inception - 2019
Anna Baranowsky has lived with her spouse and dog in West Willowdale since December 2012. She has been on the board since 2014. She has found the area to be a great choice of neighbourhood and is pleased to be part of this excellent community.

Steven Biggs

Longtime resident of Willowdale, now living on Ellerslie Ave. with his young family, is a writer, journalist, and speaker focussing on farming, food, and gardening. He is one of the founding members working towards the creation of the WWNA.

David Chapman
2016 – 2021
I have been a resident of West Willowdale since early 1983 and live on Diagonal Road with my wife as well as my eldest son and his family. We modified our 1950’s side split home in 2009 to construct separate living quarters for them. I retired in 2010 after having spent some 46 years in the International transportation industry. I now spend my days in my workshop, the garden and improving the property. I am a very keen supporter of the community where we live and follow the developments in the area closely.

Suranjita Khaund
2016 - 2022
Suranjita moved to the West Willowdale neighbourhood in 2014 with her family trying to find a space that balanced the hustle bustle of the city and the long commute of the suburbs. She works in Information Services at the Hospital for Sick Children and enjoys reading, cycling, camping and skiing with her family comprising of two children, a dog and a handful of fishes. She joined WWNA as a means to feel more connected and to try and ensure that development in the neighbourhood is sustainable and community-centric.
